Africanized Honey Bees? Maybe.
Encounter with a nest of wild honey bees in Citrus County, Florida. Africanized honey bees are established in Florida…approach all wild bee hives with extreme caution.

They are not africanized honey bees, they’re Carniolans. Carniolans are actually known for being gentle.

Unfortunatly, there is no such thing as a ‘native’ honey bee in America. Honey bees were taken over from Europe and are prevalent in Asia and the Middle East.
