   blatent ignorance and too much idle time. It’s a way of defining a subculture. Not all blacks talk this way but you’d have to ask one to understand.

   As for young white males emulating ghetto/urban subcultures? Think about how the media has portrayed this behavior. It’s seen as aggressive, bold, in-your-face and authoritive. Young impressionable white kids like to adopt an identity and this is just another form of individual expression. Similar in thinking to those who become “goth” and wear all black and speak of death and other dark subjects. They are trying to find an identity. You rarely see older people who do this.

   Would you be more wary of someone who says, “Hi, how are you?” or “Yo, man, wassup mother fcuker?” Personally I see this kind of talk rather ignorant and makes the person sound extremely uneducated. The problem is is that society allows this behavior. And laws protect freedom of expression. Blacks who speak intellegently and clearly (known as white talk or Uncle Tom’s by blacks) are looked down on by those who speak ghetto slang. Meanwhile the ones who speak intellegently don’t have phone service in their grandma’s name. And don’t have to be “down with ‘something’” to fit in. They don’t need to carry a gun to get respect. The don’t commit crimes to get money. (US statistic says: 3 of 5 blacks will serve time in jail in their lifetimes while 1 of 5 whites do the same. 70% of blacks are getting government assistance vs. 30% whites and others).

   The best thing they could do is quit talking so ignorantly. stop perpetuating the stereotypes. Stop pulling the race card in all accused crimes. Start treating their own kids like they are human and not untrained dogs. Transform the ghetto into the place to be when you want a good life. Quit littering so much (personal experience). And tone down the rap music. Why do many blacks have to drive flashy cars with banging bass? Ever notice that bass sounds like, “Dumb, dumbdumb, dumb”. Driving a car thats old and worn with flashy rims is really ignorant.

   Why do they all dress like they are athletes? Blacks will defy anything that might make them seem “white”. Why do young black women who work at fast food restaurants wear so much gold jewelery? The look like fools! If you want people to think you have money, working at Burger King taking orders is the last place you should try to convince them of that.

   All of this info is not meant to be demeaning or racist. This is based on my personal experience in growing up as a minority in a black neighborhood. If anyone is offended by this they are missing the point. It’s has been personally observed by me and not just a sweeping generalization of all blacks.
