are we ging to dye by 2009, i live in scranton and i was looking at the sky it does not look that good i hope we dont dye my gobal warming keep praying

    global warming is not real. at least man made.

    well , people say that global warming won’t start taking full effect until at least 10 – 30 years . All you can do now is , turn of your lights , don’t idle things! , consirve water , and recycle . Best of luck , and try to rent Al Gores movie An inconvient truth . It will give you some good insight

    Not likely. Global warming, and cooling, have been a natural phenomena since the earth originated. BUT……..if we do die because of Global Warming, we must sue Al Gore for inventing it.

    Unfortunately it depends almost entirely on which party wins the White House in the next American Presidential election. That’s not just for Scranton but for every person on the planet. This administration has mounted the most extensive anti-science disinformation campaign in the history of politics. The efforts of Nazi Germany and the former Soviet Union pale by comparison. They have succeeded in halting progress on every important scientific issue, not just Global Warming. The fact that they have reversed their stance on Global Warming as they prepare to leave office doesn’t fix the damage they have done to the planet we all share. World leaders have already suggested that they just want to try to avoid being blamed for their actions. They think now they can say, “Yes, originally we thought there wasn’t enough evidence for Global Warming, but we examined the evidence and determined that the evidence is irrefutable” (As Condoleeza Rice said yesterday). In fact they only quit denying the problem existed last year, and these are their first statements that it is a serious danger to every person on the planet and action needs to be taken immediately.

    Like every other Authoritarian or Totalitarian group advocating World Rule they have empowered and encouraged any baboon they could find who would attack the science or the scientists on their behalf.

    These people have masqueraded as Republicans and Conservatives, but they are far, far, far to the Right of the Republican Party, to the point where their quest for World Rule is a threat to both Parties. In my view, for not acting sooner to curtail the antics of this individual the Republican Party deserves to lose the next election, and many more. I say that as a Republican and a Conservative.

    So yes my dear, if the citizens of this country permit another 8 years of similar policies, you and Scranton, and the rest of us are doomed. If you read the Secretary of State’s speeches from this week we have no more time to “talk about talking about it”. We may have delayed too long already.

    Their downfall and undoing will be that they underestimated the intelligence of the American citizen, and the wrath of the American citizen when wronged. Let us work together to make this clear to all of them. I myself have not given up hope of seeing them prosecuted.

    There will be no more parties in America its all one party and no body has a chance. The only way now is REVOLUTION>>> Kinda like T3 “Skynet has become aware and is taking over global commmunications” IF we dont unseat BUSH we will all be wearing a computer chip (yellow star) and Minority Report will emerge, the only hope then will be Global Warming…. I am hoping mother nature does win at least it will be better than what’s coming by the next evolution in politics…. there wont even be an election…. all this is just hype, a show… but you people woudnt listen.. again…. money over nature and shortsighted humans are in control, and now its all our fates… sad very sad era to be affiliated with America…
