You were lucky. Honey bees don’t usually buzz you unless they are angry. Bumble bees do it all the time and hardly ever sting.

Honey/bumble bees are looking for nectar….hardly ever bother people….except in defense.

Actually, it wasn’t really a honey bee, it was a rich prince that had a spell cast on him.
What he really needed was for you to give him a kiss, so that he could be turned back into a handsome prince and so you could get married and live happily ever after.
I’ll bet he even had a Mastercard.

a bee only sting when its threaten or for defense. also, after a bee stung, it will die. so a bee wont give up its life for unnecessary thing. a sting from a honey bee is nothing but just a bit of pain and itchy. although it has a bit venom, its not potent.
but watch out for hornet, hopefully you know the difference between them. dont mess with a hornet. its sting is not just painful, also strong poison. you will suffer anaphylactic shock – a condition which can be fatal, and must be treated immediately (within a few minutes) in hospital, especially if you have allergy.
better get stung by a honey bee than a hornet.
