  4. It’s because of cell phones , and the waves…..
this is bad because bees are the source of pollination which produces our food so yeahh cell phones are stupid and i am proud to not own one !

  5. I hope that bee that stung me last week disappears. I also had a swarm of bees in my back yard, if they are disappearing I sure don’t see it.

  6. Not disappearing in the South. Our beekeepers can’t keep up with swarming hives in our city. We also have one of the largest concentration of cell phones in our region and we have no problem with bees, Sorry to disappoint you Rachel.

  7. I think there are a lot of factors contributing to this so-called Colony Collapse Disorder. But the biggest one by far is commercial agriculture with the use of GMOs and pesticides. Bees are an “indicator species” like frogs. They’re letting us know there’s something screwy in their ecosystem.

A couple of things you could do is support LOCAL beekeepers, buy LOCAL honey, plant bee-beneficial plants and consider keeping your own bees.

  8. We have with our breeding the wild out of bees they have become unhealthy.
So the first little virus that comes along it wipes them out.
Considering man has yet to wipe out one spieces of insects I think that won’t change.
    They will come back.
