It actually turned out that it was not cell interference, it was a virus. No worries.
And if all the bees die out, humanity would follow in about 3 years. Pollination is more important than you think.

the radio waves go thru the air and make the bees confused and then they loose their way and cant find food and all that and then they die!

There are some that claim cell phone towers have an adverse effect on bee populations. I am really skeptical, but attached is some “information.”
(Actually, I don’t think it is information but rather, as the author comments, a bunch of beeswax.)

Which you’re asking about is colony collapse disorder (CCD).
I’ve been following the stories and, until recently, they had no leads and it seemed like everyone was willing to fill in the gaps with some odd theory or another. The cell phone radiation is just that. A theory with little to no proof.
If you read the source link I added from the US Dept of Agriculture, you’ll see that there is no known cause yet. No, not even the fungus. If you go back and re-read the article that came out…if you can find it. I tried, but couldn’t, sorry…you’ll see that they didn’t say the fungus was definitely a cause, more of a symptom. In a majority of colonies they tested in a specific scenario, they found the fungus in colonies experiencing CCD.
From USDA site:
“A new parasite or pathogen may be attacking honey bees. One possible candidate being looked at is a pathogenic gut microbe called Nosema. Viruses are also suspected.”
They don’t know yet if the stuff just gets a chance to grow because the colonies experiencing CCD are weak or what.
