Please tell me what you think of it and especially your problems with it. Be as harsh as you want, I want your feedback and am happy to find out my flaws and how to fix them. I really appreciate it, thank you in advance!
zomĀ·bie
[zom-bee] noun – the body of a dead person given the semblance of life, but mute and will-less, usually for some evil purpose.
Quite a few of my friends would be offended at that remark, but we have to remember: the people who wrote this, they’re only human.
I mean; yes, we’re the reanimated body of the dead. Also we are mute, but I’d hardly call us will-less(instinct driven maybe) and definitely NOT evil. Humans just don’t trust what they can’t understand, but I think I’m getting a bit ahead of myself.
As humans call it, the Zombie “Outbreak”, started on June 13th when the first signs of Mathsonella (the virus that turns one into the undead) appeared in Supperton, Maryland. That’s where the infection started and quickly spread. That was six months ago. I caught the disease on June 21st, when the zombies were really growing in numbers. I was fifteen when it happened, almost sixteen. I’d like to think I was nice before I turned.
My family was from Hong Kong, but moved to Maine twenty years ago to start a little restaurant that is now quite popular. I’m the only one dead though, and they don”t think of me as family anymore. They did what you’d expect when they saw me, got the hell out of there. Not much changed about my looks after I died, except for my flesh is less lively to put it politely, my fingernails have turned black, and my shiny eyes have gone cloudy and dull.
True, I’m not the same person as before; but that doesn’t mean that I’m not a person. Just because I can’t talk, doesn’t mean that I can’t speak. My name is Miriam Lee and this isn’t any love story or thriller; this is my story.
I’ve seen you post this like three times now. Just wait for reviews on your other questions.

It’s quite terrible.

Last paragraph is so incredibly cliche I would not continue reading this if it were an actual story. You have an interesting (however over-used) premise, but /please/ stray from cliches. PLEASE.
