Is it possible to let a queen cell grow, get a queen then remove with dromes and workers to start a new hive?

The queen cannot survive on her own. She needs the workers to do the work. She is only an egg producing machine.
You can split the hive if you know which half the old queen is in. This is risky if you cannot be sure about identifying the queen. Place the new queen in the split off hive in her cage. By the time the workers have eaten through the casing, they will think she is their queen and assist her in her maternal duties.
