K, here’s my newest poem that I’ve written. Hope you like!

NOT A FAIRYTALE

I need your smile
It’s been a while

Since you’ve been with me
You’re what I need to see

I can be who you need
I’m gonna follow your lead

If you’re far or near
I’ll be right here

For you and only you
That’s what I’ll always do

I love you more today
More and more than yesterday

There’s something you can know for sure
When you’re sick I’ll be your cure

You make things sound okay
Whether you’re here or far away

Please don’t leave me cuz I need you
Just know that I will be true

I’ll be right by your side
We don’t have to hide

With you is where I want to be
It’s what everyone shall see

Do you love me like I love you?
I only hope you do

It’s like we’re once-upon-a-time
Save me from the tower in which you’ll climb

My knight will come to rescue me
He’ll be here soon, he has to be

Slay the dragon that guards my cell
And come break this evil spell

We’ll be together
From now until forever

We’ll rule this kingdom from now on
Now that the spell is surely gone

You will be the king
Your praises they will sing

I will be your queen
I am no longer in between

We sing sing our royal story
In all it’s pride and glory

We will sing happily ever after
We’ll hear the children’s laughter

But none of this is real
If it’s not the way you feel

But I will not break down
I will keep my made up crown

But I have one thing left to do
I’ll let you know that I love you
