Why do some men commit themselves to drama queens?

One of my friends married a woman after she got him landed in jail, marked up his car, and acted a fool at his job. Another friend is very much committed to a woman who insisted that she was on birth control when she wasn’t. He didn’t want another kid with her and told her that. Another guy I know is infactuated with a woman who seeks to get her ego stroked in between relationships. Another guy I know is very committed to his childrens’ mother even though she keeps having sex with the neighbor everytime they move a new apartment. Another guy stays with his girlfriend even though she has no respect for him, screams at him, curses him out. Constantly accuses of him cheating and screens his cell phone calls. When I meet some men they act all surprised when they find I’m friendly and outgoing. Not full of drama.
