Ok,, i am 14, and in 9th grade. I have never been asked out on a date. I got aske dout to homecoming, by this creepy new guy, (in 9th as well) and he is really creepy, and i tried to be nice about it. I am not a mean person (i can be a drama queen, but i got better), i dont text ANy boys. I text one, very very infrequently, like 1 or 2 at the most times a month. I have never hugged a guy my age who i am not related to. No guy has ever asked for my cell number. I DEFINETELY dont think im gorgeous, but one of my friends (shes not a liar, but she is brutally honest) and she said “the truth is i think youre pretty/ok.” Not one guy i have ever liked has liked me back (or at least admitted it.) and now i really like this guy, and he is older, (10th grade) and im already discouraged as it seems its not going to happen. Im afraid that maybe the guys think im a freak, cos i have so little expirience. Not that im ashamed, i mean i think its all good and well. Why could this always happen? Btw, i go to a private, conservative Christian school. Any tips or ideas or any help for me is greatly appreciated. Thanks sooo much

and about the creepy guy .. dont go with him because u dont like him not because hes creepy…. stretch it out till the longest u can and see if u get any other requests

okay, i don’t really understand what your question is, but i’ll evaluate your situation. you’re in 9th grade and you’ve never hugged a boy and you aren’t currently talking to any boys. honey, i don’t think they’re scared off because of your lack of experience, i think you might not be very pretty. why don’t you just go to homecoming with the boy that will have you and leave it at that?

I would be visible to him as much as possible. Walk a dog where he hangs out. Exercise or anything where and when you know he’ll be. Let him see you often without saying anything to him. If you look your best at these times, smile alot and feel good about yourself then he’ll notice you and the rest would be history. But don’t be pushy or too forward most guys like to chase a girl. If possible bring a boy cousin or friend with you when he sees you that would get his interest even more. If and when you do this just make direct eye contact with him if he looks at you but don’t approach him. Eye contact is flirty enough sometimes to get just what you want. But if and when you get his attention leave a little mystery about yourself. You don’t have to tell him or answer every question about yourself right away. Leave some blanks and he’ll just keep wondering. Don’t worry if it ain’t him it will soon be someone else and then the real life troubles begin. Don’t rush, be safe and have fun fun fun.

Umm… You could dress up a bit more?? try to make yourself look prettier, with more makeup, cooler clothes etc?
Maybee the best way to show how you feel is to tell them? Like said before, easier said then done, but you could atleast try?
Don’t Go For The Creepy Guy, you don’t like him if that isn’t obvious enough, and If you want to become more liked by the 10th Grader, I dont think going to homecoming with ‘creepy guy’ is a big start.
