What’s the biggest thing to ever happen to your home town?

A old B-movie actress from the 50s was born in my home town. Then there was the time a tornado cut the town in half(it came up main street), President Carter once drove thou but didn’t stop, then there was the floods of ’56, ’63, ’70, ’84, ’97 and 2008. We also gone in national news when 3 punks burnt down one of our churches along with 7 more in other towns.Then there was the time firefighters found a killer bee hive buried under a old house in the middle of town. They had to burn the house down to kill them. later on they found out the whole house was one big bee hive with the bees both inside and outside the walls. then there was the time a train missed the curve and crashed into the town depot and flatted it(before my time).
Not at all Jackie. trust me Your town sounds safer then mine LOL.

Is there anything wrong with liking what I like?

I’m a teenaged girl, and I’m not really a “typical teen.” I mean I have a cell phone and an iPod and I text like crazy. But, I like 50s-80s rock music like The Beatles, Queen, Journey, Aerosmith, instead of Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and people like that. I don’t like Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, or any of the Twilight franchise. I like movies, musicals and TV shows like Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables, Saturday Night Live, The Office, Parks and Recreation, and 30 Rock.

I mean honestly this is the stuff I like, not all the crap there is today, and my friend is giving my grief about how I always try to be different and that I’m not a normal teenager.

But there’s nothing wrong with what I like is there?
