He usually barks to come in, but he didn’t, I was at work and by the time my husband figured out he hadn’t come back in, he was laying in the back yard having a difficult time breathing. It was around 90 today so he figured he had overheated. He brought him in and put him in cool water and gave him plenty of fluids but he was lethargic still. He seemed fine by the time I got home and is resting now, he ate and had more water and went to the bathroom. Should I take him to the vet, or do you think he is okay? He has been on prednisone already for a respiratory problem for a couple of weeks he is at the end of the treatment and had a pill the night before. He gets really upset at the vets and his breathing gets very loud and his tongue goes purple so if I don’t have to make the trip I don’t want to put him through it. He does occasionally have seizures, so that could be what happened. Just wonder if I should watch for anything?
