write with regard to the accident that took place at New York, queens in February 28, 2011. It was a hit and run car accident on a traffic signal when I was fully stopped at a red light traffic signal, I was in a left line on a road and waited for signal turns to green light, suddenly a car came and hit me and I was rear ended, causing me to hit the truck in front of me. The driver who had hit me was using a cell phone and not aware of the red light or stopped cars. I was really shocked that he had hit me and my car was totaled but the truck I hit was not damaged. I fell off and unable to move my neck left or right for a while and had pain in shoulder and back, after few minutes when I tried to came out of my car my head was spinning and I fell dizzy and my seat belt was stuck and when I tried to unlock it I hit my head on the windshield that was already broken caused by the accident then I call the 911ambulance. When I came out of my car, I saw that the driver who had hit me was there, I tried to talk to him but he was drunk. I took out my phone and say I am going to call the police but then he convinced me not to call the police and he gave me his cell phone number and car insurce card . I took the pictures and video of his car for prove and asked him about his insurance then he said he is going to get the papers from his car to give me but he seated in a car and run. The ambulance came there and put me on a stretcher then police came and asked me what happened. Caused of this accident I had a back and neck inguries and went for physiotherapy for six months. I also have my accident Oath and police report. I have been suffering from pain and not able to do any work and job caused by pain. Do you have any thought on this case? Tell me what should I do
