Do you believe that religion holds back society?

Because of religion we have been unable to advance technology regarding abortions, stem cell research, wars in the name of differing beliefs. They killed Galileo for claiming the world is round. Even in the middle ages, the hypodermic needle wasn’t approved by the Catholic church for hundreds of years. What are your thoughts on the subject?
you say our government holds back society but the government is Christian. The President uses religious tactics by claiming he speaks to God.

What should I do to prepare to move to NYC?

I’m done with high school, and I will soon be starting a new job. I still live with my parents, so there is no need for rent, and the only bill I pay right now is my cell phone bill, which is only around 60 dollars a month.

I’m planning on moving to NYC next year and attending college. I’ve got several universities lined up, but if need be when I’m there I’ll attend a community college first. My best friend is going to move with me, though for the sake of planning I am going to exclude her from thought and pretend it is just me going, that way if something happens I won’t be left financially insufficient to move.

So what should I do to prepare myself? I’ve been reading on what I should do, but I want information from a lot of sources. How much money should I save? What should I be ready for? Where should I look for an apartment? I’ve heard Brooklyn is a good place to look.

ANY advice you can give me would be GREAT.

What happened to all the bees?

As many of you fellow garderners and poor honey farmers have noticed the bee population in the U.S. has significantly dropped over the past few years. This has damaged my garden because butterflies can’t pick up all the extra slack for pollinating certian plants, some self-pollinate enough but others need help, there used to be lots of bees in my garden but lately your lucky if you see even one, and if there’s two you’re having a great day. Some blame it on cell phone signals (microwaves) confusing the bees. Others on a type of Bee AIDS, what they call it is Colonial Collapse Disorder, CCD for short. Why do you think this all happening. If you’ve read to the end of this thanks.

let me just start by saying that im in a relation with a loving, caring and an honest guy. we are childhood friends and were a perfect couple until he got his cell. I felt as i drove him mad after he got the cell phone ! but still, im helpless, i cant control ma self. Im like Being jealous about every girl his around
Calling ALL the time
Texting ALL the time
Always wanting to know where the he is at

he triess to cope up my demands and i want him to be happy as well by not being possessive. we have patched up after a long scene and i want to be perfect when we meet.half an hour ago, he called me and talked to me like a perfect guy but then told me that he is going to take extra classes for a month to cope up with his studies burdens. that academy is co. for a month, he will be attending a co(including girls and boys) academy. he ensured me that i love you sweetheart, dont u trust me? i trust him nut still dont know y i am so insecured. i said that u will leave me when you will find another good looking gal , but then he said that no girl would be as pretty as you and made me laugh. but im a bit tensed. wat should i do to show him that i have changed???please guide me out.

Plus ! we would be meeting each other after a month. i want to surprise him , by not being possessive, a drama queen and by not being so bossy. and i want him to xperience a full change in me from head to toe. please please guide me. that too in detail. give me some tips and ideas to get my self beautiful apparently and irresistable as well. please!!!
