Lady Ella, Lady Elador!” Sonie, the housemaid awoke the two sleeping wizards. “Two peanuts, Nutty and Butter, have requested your presence in the front room.” She reported. Ella sat up. What a nightmare she had just had. Hundreds of red-eyed peanuts surrounded her chanting, “Evil one, Evil one, we serve the Evil one.” Who was this evil one and what did her dream mean? “Tell Nutty and Butter we will be there momentarily.” replied Ella. Sonie curtsied and backed out of the room. Elador rolled out of bed yawning, an enormous yawn. Ella slipped on an emerald and white dress while Elador put on her dark purple and white dress. They both had the same clothes just Ella’s were emerald and Elador’s were dark purple.
“I just had a dream about hundreds of evil looking peanuts surrounding me, chanting something about an Evil one.” Elador told Ella. “Me too.” said Ella. She was somewhat surprised but then again, they were sisters, and wizards. Maybe the two peanuts in the front room would be here to explain what their dream had been about. Ella and Elador went into the bathroom. Elador brushed out her shoulder length dark brown hair, while Ella wrestled her long golden hair. Elador put her good luck charm; a bracelet she had received on the day she had finished her wizard training. Ella’s good luck charm was a black choker with a black stone on it. She had received that on the day she had finished her wizard training as well, which was the same day as Elador.
They slipped on their emerald and dark purple shoes and hurried down the stairs and into the front room. They saw two small peanuts engaged in a friendly conversation with Sonie. As they approached, the two peanuts looked up from their miniature teacups and curtsied and bowed. “I am Nutty.” said the male peanut stepping forward. “And I am Butter.” said the Female peanut joining Nutty. They were very cute. “Why have you requested our help on this fine day?” asked Elador.
Butter climbed onto the arm of the chair and began, “In our homeland, The Land of Peanuts, there is a peanut named the Evil one.” said Butter. “So they are here to explain the dream.” Thought Ella and Elador. “He is a wretched tyrant! He has formed an army of brainwashed peanuts that go out and capture innocent villager peanuts. Then, the Evil one throws them into the Cliff of Agony, a cliff on the edge of our village with blades at the bottom, and the blades turn them into peanut butter! He sells the peanut butter in foreign countries to make money.” Butter said, her voice full of pain, “But our queen received a prophesy from the heavens that two young wizards, The green wizard and The purple wizard (Ella and Elador’s wizard names) would be brought back to The Land of Peanuts and destroy the Evil one.” Butter finished, looking hopefully at Ella and Elador.
They were shocked that a fellow peanut would do such horrible things to his, own kind! They knew that tyrant had to be stopped! “We will come back with you to your homeland.” Ella told them. “Thank you my ladies!!! Thank you so much!!!” Ella and Elador looked down and saw Nutty kissing their feet. “I am so sorry!” said Butter, leaping down from the chair and grabbing her friend. “He fell out of the shell at birth!” Butter looked menacingly at Nutty. Ella and Elador laughed. “We must pack before we leave.” said Elador. “Sonie, get these peanuts something to eat, as I am sure they are hungry from their journey.” Sonie hurried into the kitchen and we soon herd the banging and clashing of pots and pans, as she bustled about.
Ella and Elador walked up the stairs and into their room to pack their clothes. Ella and Elador picked out their matching gowns and dresses. They got out the medium sized trunk and put them in. Then they got their book of spells, brushes, a small black cauldron, and two pairs of shoes each.
They lugged the heavy trunk down the stairs and into the front room. Nutty and Butter had moved to the dining room for some lunch though. They put the trunk next to the door and went to the dining room to tell them they were ready. Nutty and Butter were having a meal of chicken with lemon juice, Sonie’s specialty. Sonie and the peanuts were talking about their favorite things to eat. “Well I for one just love jelly!” Nutty was saying. Paul, Ella and Elador’s furless cat, had just entered the room. Nutty gasped. “I didn’t know you had cats in this country!” He said climbing down from the table and walking over to Paul. All of a sudden he shouted YEE HAW and jumped onto Paul’s back. Paul reared up and started to run, but he would follow Nutty’s orders just like a horse would follow a Human’s orders.
BANG! Butter smacked her head against the table. “Get off their cat Nutty, NOW!” Butter commanded. “Whoa boy!” Nutty said and Paul stopped. He reached into his pocket, took out some fish and fed it to Paul. He climbed back onto his chair and finished his chicken.
