Monsanto has patents on seeds whose DNA they have modified. These genetically modified crops are destroying the ecosystem, producing foods that are giving us cancer, reproductive problems, allergies, resistance to antibiotics, and liver dysfunction as well as poisoning the soil. GE crops kill monarch butterflies, earthworms, bees, cows and chickens who graze in the ROUND UP fields, and will cross-mixed with “normal” plants in the environment thus eliminated natural plants. Monsanto sues (and wins) farmers who try to use the seeds from their produce of the patented seeds! TIn order to protect their patent, they have developed seeds that now are NOT CAPABLE of reproducing themselves forcing farmers to buy seeds from Monsanto each year.
If they DO know, is it because of profits that they continue to plant GE crops?

Grizzlies eat honey from normal bees but those aren’t as numerous nor programmed with DNA for more aggressive attacks to defend their honey. Grizzlies also smother wasp nests to eat wasp larvae, but North American wasps aren’t as numerous or as deadly as Africanized honeybees, right? I know their ranges will never overlap, at least not for 100 years as the bees spread upwards from lower latitudes. Was really just curious.
GMO = genetically modified organisms, aka foods containing highly toxic pesticides/herbicides and other tox chems built in the DNA of the seed (corn, canola, soy, cotton, zucchini, beets & now alfalfa).

Kreeos: please educate yourself and don’t compare GMO’s to hybrid or cross-pollitnation! GMO’s are not even in the same zip code as hybrids! The bananas you speak of don’t have built-in pesticides within their DNA spewing tons of lethal tox chems into its fruity flesh. (Of course there’s GM bananas but that’s another story!) The S.C.I.E.N.T.I.F.I.C evidence is out there. Go to Vimeo and search Jeffrey M Smith: he provides tons of scientific proof and it’s documented on camera to show that GMO’s have been proven toxic and lethal to certain persons. Those scientists who worked for Monsanto and uncovered that are on-camera explaining how they got fired once they came to the conclusion that GMOs weren’t safe for animal nor human consumption, and their studies suppressed. All in the name of the payola, the geat American love for the dollar. But I guess you can bury your head back in the sand. How’s living in la-la-land?

@Jeff H then try lard! Olive oil is NOT a good oil to cook with! Only to drizzle in already cooked foods or salads. I cook with coconut oil or bacon fat. I use olive oil in my salads or I do without.

There are 2 kinds of ppl in this world: the ones intelligent enough to educate themselves about an issue, become responsible for themselves and take action to change their behavior. And then there are the uneducated gullible fools who swallow the lies they are given because they are too lazy to do proper research or even watch a video that is way in over their heads.
