Do you think the lead singer of a group is mean, or selfish if they decide to go solo?

I always hear they are selfish if there solo career does well, and the other band members don’t. You could base it on all lead singers from any group, i am basically talking about Diana Ross, and Beyonce(You know for today’s era in music.) Both ladies are talented, and of course both were in groups. Do you think they screwed the other members over to get to the top, or did the music industry just choose them to be the star?

Yeeeeah! Everyone looking at this right now is very lucky! You all are living in the best era of humankind! Sure, the age of empires was cool, and the 60′s were chill and all, but we might get to see the end of the world! How amaazing would it be to die with the world? there had been a “coming end of the world” many times, but this time it seems legit. Bees and insects along with… well, every species is dying, and world war is imminent! But alas, we are here to see it all. We live in the time of hilarious sitcoms, boxes that can teach us anything we want, Iron Maiden and Van Halen, and an enless list of other cool junk! so people, would you disagree with me when I say that though stuff is maaad fkuced up, we live in the best time ever? think about it. the world cant take our shit for much longer, so lets give it a big heaping more before it finally cracks. Anyone can get away with pretty much anything today… the world today rocks! who cares if we kill it within the next 50 years?
uhm… im not being sarcastic.

Best Civil Rights era movies?

Looking to find more movies having to do with African-American interest, particularly ones during the Civil Rights era. (recent ones I’ve seen: Ghosts of Mississippi, Secret Life of Bees, Great Debaters, The Long Walk Home)…I’ve enjoyed these so much that I really want to see more along the lines of these. Can anybody recommend more? thanks :)
