native american or african words for fox, wolf, coyote?

I just got a puppy and he kind of looks like a cross between a coyote and a fox, or a tiny wolf. I am looking for names for him. I was thinking it would be cute if he had a name that translated into something like “little fox” or “little wolf”. I know there are many different african and native american languages, so if someone can give me the translations for these words, please let me know and also tell me which tribe it’s from.

Other words that I might be interested in the translation for would be jump and escape (things he does very well so far!)

How do I catch a fox or a possum? what do they eat?

I don’t want to kill them, just possibly get pictures of them or see them. I don’t know for sure if we have them here baltimore county. but one night i saw something run into the woods and it was bigger than a rabbit.
I put bread out one night and came back hours later and bunnies were swarming around it. but i dont want bunnies, what do foxes and opossums eat that bunnies dont?
I AM NOT try to capture them!! i just want to snap a picture or atleast get some footprints of the animals in the snow so i know they are here!

The book explores the death of 30 billion honeybees in the northern hemisphere and the ramifications this loss has on agriculture. Mr. Jacobsen reports that honeybees pollinate one third of American crops and due to Colony Collapse Disorder, many hives are being transported around the world to avoid an agricultural collapse. He responded to questions from the audience following his remarks.
