Free People: Dog TALK! Episode 5 – Cooking dog treats with Brownie and Jasmine
Finally! The long awaited dog talk with Brownie! After much delay in post-production it’s finally here(in technicolor). This episode is a very special extended Cooking show. Join us in the Free People kitchen where Jasmine and Kevin show us how to cook Brownie’s delicious double dog chocolate dog brownies: treats for your dog that you can cook right at home. They’re really easy to make, inexpensive, and your dog will love you for it.
Here’s the ingredients list for the brownie’s we cook in this week’s show:
1 cup cooking oil (vegetable, grapeseed, butter, or other)
A bunch of flour (I use unbleached wheat flour)
3-4 eggs
A slurp of agave syrup (or other natural sweetener, honey is fine)
A pinch of salt
Little bit of Vanilla extract
Two big handfuls chopped or shredded carrots
Medium-sized dog pile of melted Carob chips (NOT Chocolate)
One handful of chopped almonds or Brazil nuts
about 1/2 cup of water
couple pinches of baking powder
anything else in your kitchen you need to get rid of.
Most of these items can be found at your local health food store or market.
Have a great time!
