I’m trying to write a story this summer. Keyword, trying. As you can clearly assume from my delightful tone, I have not even begun. Sure, I have a couple starters but nothing that can lead to a legit book. Just to let you haters know, if you’re going to say “don’t push it!” or “stories take time!” or “why should I help you when I can write my own!” or anything hater-ish like that, DO NOT BOTHER. Even though I need every answer possible, I do NOT need people acting like they are writing gods to diss me.
Okay, let’s get started!!!
SETTING
-Tell me your favorite setting for a story if it was on the East Coast. Is it Florida? Is it Nantucket? Is it Maine? Is it Pennsylvania?
-Is it a small or large town or ceratin city? Is it by a lake or the sunny ocean? Is it a tourist town? Name your dream place to live on the East Coast. (EC because I’m more familiar with it and have been from each tip)
CHARACTER
-My main character is a teenage girl. Would you like the main character to be the queen bee of her class? Just an average girl? (cliche enough?) Is she sentimential or made of stone? Who would you relate to better?
FRIENDS
-Would you rather this girl to have two guy friends always competing for her love? Or two best girlfriends? Or a girl and a guy? Or just one girl, or just one guy? Tell me your ideas, maybe even your friends!
PARENTAL SITUATION
-There is a situation with the girls parents in my plot. Tell me which one is better or one of your ideas…
-The mother and the father divorce and the father wins custody. He remarries and tells the daughter that her mother has died.
-The girl figures out she is adopted.
-She was switched at birth
-Your idea?
MAIN IDEA FOR MY FANTASY STORY…
-Yes, it IS a fantasy story. But keep your hat on, I’m not infected with that vampire/witch/werewolf disease. I like more avergae, slightly out of the ordinary stuff. Like people having some kind of ability. This is where I need 100% of YOUR opinion. Tell me the awesomest dream you’ve ever had, one where you were differnt like that. Everyone must have had one before! Whether you turned into your household cat or you could turn people into your cat, tell me it all! NO jokes appreciated.
