high school groups- labeling self and others……what are you.?

I’ve been reading the adolecent forum for a few weeks. When i was in highschool back in the 80′s we had your preps, jocks, stoners, wanna bees and nobodies.
I have to keep looking up all these sub-cultures and find it very interesting. We now have emos, and goths and Sxe and who knows what else
I am 35 and feel tottaly out of touch.Anyway my question is How old are you and what sub-culture do you identify with?

Well, actually I’m running for class treasurer (sophmore in highschool) and i want to sound ~professional~.
example (a bad example though haha): a win in this election for me will be a win for all of YOU.

Will Dairy Queen hire at age 13?

I have a highschool mentor that told me that, at age 13, she was hired at the local Dairy Queen in Clifton, Illionis. I’ve been looking for a job lately (so I can save up to get a new cell phone.. my other one was broken.) and was wondering if this would be possible.

My gf is just starting sophmore yr in highschool and i am out of highschool, we are also 3000 miles apart.?

My gf is a sophmore and i am out of school and plus we 3000 miles away. should i stay or go?
me and her have been goin out for almost 3 yrs now and she is a sophmore in highschool and i am out of school, she lives in utah and i live in louisiana. most of the relationship has bee longdistance but we decided to keep it together until she is old enough to move out. i was wondering if i should stay with her so she cant be with anyone if someone asks her out,etc. or should i leave so i wouldnt have to worry about taken that away from her? but i couldnt look at her the same if i knew that she was with someone else. I was her 1st and hopefully her only since she has been gone. but i dont know what to do. HELP!
