I am aware of the Biblical phrase, “The Key of David.” It is mentioned in Isaiah 22:22, for example. In the Hebrew its meaning appears to be opener, same as key with the House of David. In this context it seems to mean the Hebrews would ultimately survive the Assyrian invasion. Revelation 3:7 also includes mention of the key of David as something that could not be shut.
In my opinion, this means Christ cannot be stopped. Its foundation is that the Bible lists Christ as the son of David.
What other valid interpretations and meanings could be drawn from the phrase? Replies appreciated.
