I’m 20, I’ve had type 1 diabetes for 8 years. I don’t tend to my health like I should. My A1C has bee at 10-9, never lower than 9. I haven’t had any complications due to my diabetes (not over wt or under wt, I have all my senses, no thyroid disease, etc). I know that can at any moment though. I wish I had better control of my diabetes… Can anyone tell me if there is a typical age for complications?
