Can anyone tell me about the affects of alcohol while on antihistamines?

Zyrtec specificallyly (cetirizine). From what I gather from the zyrtec website, wikipedia, and the U.S. National Library of Medicine wed site, they only say avoid drinking alcohol because both alcohol and cetirizine can potentially result in drowsiness. Zyrtec has never made me drowsy and moderate amounts of alcohol very rarely do, so I will drink while on Zyrtec. My friend won’t take allergy medication when we drink at a house with cats, and his allergies usually spoil his night. He doesn’t get drowsy on either zyrtec or while drinking either. This is what he said when i tried to explain he didn’t need to worry about side affects he had never experienced. “antihistimines affect your respitory system and alcohol affects antihistimines. the doctors on that show the doctors said not to. that all the proof i need.” He seems to think if he takes zyrtec and has a couple drinks he’s going to stop breathing.

German Shepard trouble?

My dog is losing hair all over her body. We took her to the vet a couple of times and they gave her a vaccine and the rashes on her belly, armpits, and knees went away. After a couple of weeks it came back but this time much worse.We repeated the steps and took her to the vet. It stopped and then started again. We did it again like 5 or 6 times. And it keeps coming back worse. We tried food, and medicine. NONE of it is working. We have no clue on what to do. She is very healthy and gets treated with care. She just has that trouble. What is wrong and what can we do.. ( Bringing her back to the vet is not an answer) What can I do in home to help her. I hate to see her suffer. Thank you!!!!! My dog is a female if thet even matters.. Now I know I have asked this before But no one could unserstand what is wrong. The vet did not prescribe anything. And We are feeding the dog food and changing it every 2 weeks or so. We are keeping the wet food the same..Pedigree and Kibbles and bits in the night time. She is an outside dog and she has a dog house and a shed with tiles. Her cage is huge for a dog. On the outside of her cage there is tiles. Please what is wrong.

How long does a wasp sting last?

I got stung by a wasp fri night on the inside of my leg. The stinger does not appear to be in it. When i woke up satuerday, i noticed a red ring around it about 2-3 inches around and i drew an outline of the ring before leaving the house to get some benadryl. Later came back and went to apply the medicine and the redness had spread about 6 inches around total. Been applying the benadryl and keeping ice on it when it gets real itchy becuase that is helping. I just want to know about how long these normally last, and how long i should watch it before i go to the hospital. Im not having an allergic reaction other than my leg itching like crazy. But most websites have said that if the symptoms get worse see a doctor, so i want to be ready for that just in case.

If calendula has the theraputic actions of , anti inflammitory, vulnerrary, antiseptic, astrignet, emmenagogue, chalagogue which would you put its the major theraptuic actions and which are the minor, if you could give reasosn that would be great.
