Last year nobody came to my kid’s birthday…?

I have a kid who just turned 7. Last year I invited people from his class to attend the party I was throwing, but nobody came. Probably because it was at our house.

So this year I held the party at Chuck E Cheeses.
I invited everyone from this year’s class.

The catch is that I really didn’t reserve anything at Chuck E Cheeses. In fact, while all the invited are swarming to Chuck E Cheeses, I am taking my son to the movies.

I’m just wondering, does this make me a bad person?

how can we help save the bees and why does it seem like nobody cares?(government wise, worldwide)?

Bees are dying all over the world in huge numers, no bees, most of our food goes away, and fast. Any ideas on what to do about this? both in the realm of government and the reealm of everyday things that everybody could do, should we all try to keep a little colony, therefore making many may more colonies? I dunno… but something needs to happen fast.

Lyrics question, bet nobody can answer:3!?

I was jw what these lyrics might mean, it’s ‘on the radio’ by rgina spektor:
This is how it works
It feels a little worse
Than when we drove our hearse
Right through that screaming crowd
While laughing up a storm
Until we were just bone
Until it got so warm
That none of us could sleep
And all the styrofoam
Began to melt away
We tried to find some worms
To aid in the decay
But none of them were home
Inside their catacomb
A million ancient bees
Began to sting our knees
While we were on our knees
Praying that disease
Would leave the ones we love
And never come again

On the radio
We heard November Rain
That solo’s really long
But it’s a pretty song
We listened to it twice
‘Cause the DJ was asleep

This is how it works
You’re young until you’re not
You love until you don’t
You try until you can’t
You laugh until you cry
You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe
Until their dying breath

No, this is how it works
You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
And try to love the things you took
And then you take that love you made
And stick it into some
Someone else’s heart
Pumping someone else’s blood
And walking arm in arm
You hope it don’t get harmed
But even if it does
You’ll just do it all again

And on the radio
You hear November Rain
That solo’s awful long
But it’s a good refrain
You listen to it twice
‘Cause the DJ is asleep
On the radio
(oh oh oh)
On the radio
On the radio – uh oh
On the radio – uh oh
On the radio – uh oh
On the radio.

anybody know what the latest is on the colony collapse disorder found all over the place with honey bees?

have not heard anything at all for a few months….what is happening? this is supposed to be a huge potential disaster and nobody is talking about it.

Why is everybody talking about global warming, but seemingly ignoring the mysterious disappearance of honey…

bees? Entire colonies of honey bees have been disappearing recently and nobody knows why. Why doesn’t this seem to be a concern? Did you know that honey bees are directly responsible for 30 percent of our food supply and indirectly responsible for another 30 percent, and that all life on earth would die out within 4 years if these little creatures become completely extinct? Where are the questions, the debates, the concerns regarding this issue? How can this not be of much greater importance than this so – called global warming business? If you ask me, somebody had better figure this out real quick or we are all gonna be in trouble!
