Extracting honey with Kimberley and Bree at Sunset Magazine HQ
Typically when we harvest honey here at Sunset Magazine HQ, we strip the wax comb and honey from the frames and strain the honey through cheesecloth into a bowl. This time we thought we would be a little more daring and use a honey extractor (available for use though our local bee guild). The honey extractor uses centrifugal force to fling the honey out of the comb.
