Why aren’t the bees focusing on my flowers?

I have a good sized porch in a condo that I recently bought.

I love flowers and have several potted plants out here..I plan on getting several more…

One of the pots contains a variety of bright yellow flowers, pink flowers….I dont know what kind of flowers they are, my mom and little sister made the basket for me as a mothers day gift (even though I’m not a mommy yet – it was so nice of them)…I also have another pot with beautiful purple flowers in it (again, dont know what they’re called – aunt gave them to me as a birthday gift)…

Theres a tun of bees flying around my porch. I dont really mind it too much, they’re not being a bother to me…. but I’m wondering why they’re buzzing around the gutters (hopefully not to make a nest)….and I never see them on any of the flowers.
Dont the bees help the flowers grow better?

i also have asian giant hornets in my back yard! they prowl my deck/ back porch at night. i live in ohio too?

what do i do about these giant hornets? if they are only in japan; why arte we finding them here in ohio?

Couls i keep rats outside?

I want rats my dad won’t keep them in house. So can i keep them on my back porch? during summer it not that hot where i live but in winter it cold!During winter i could take them in our garage and keep them heated properly. So would they be ok outside?
I will take them inside and play with them everyday.

Questions about moving bees:)?

My mom and sister have resently been adopted by a colony of very gentle bees. I say gentle because my sister will clean the porch where there at and they could care less.lol

We have learned and loved having them so much that Ive disided to start a small bee farm to collect
honey and make a little money on the side while helping the enviorment. We have 80 acers of land about 2hrs away.

They colony is strong, and very gentle. So i wanted to keep that blood line, but if I cover up the hive late at night and take them to our farm , do u think the stress of the trip might kill them. Ive read that bees a awesome when it come to finding there way back where they first came from.

What do u think.? Is it posible to out a hive on top with the hopes of a new queen might emerge?

Thanjs fir your time and much needed help:)

Are there any kinds of light that don’t attract moths?

I’m absolutely terrified of moths. I’m not sure why, but snakes, spiders, rats, bees are WAY less scary than moths. I know it’s not logical at all, but what so you do. I live alone and moths that gather near my porch light occasionally slip inside, creating a major problem for me since I have nobody to “rescue” me and kill the moth. (Except for my cat, but when the moths get up by the ceiling, there’s not much she can do.) Is there any color or type of light that does not attract moths so that they aren’t around so much?
