I got my kitty when he was 5 weeks old. Found him in a turned over telephone pole next to a busy road. Mama had disappeared–I assume got hit. So did all his siblings.
He still shows feral cat tendencies, even at 2 years old–he LOVES food. Obsessed. NO ONE TAKES his food. He’s an outdoor cat, but waits by the screen door because he knows I’m a softy and like to have him inside. Makes a bee line for the fridge. He would climb in if you don’t stop him.
He hates being held (he always has to have “ahold” of ya), but he LOVES being petted. I wuuld like to have him inside my room at night, as I get cold, and he’s soft, and he gets cold outdoors not to mention I worry about coyotes.
BUT im scared. Scared he’ll crawl off and piss, and we know what happenes once something gets sprayed with cat pee. He is neutered–I got him neutered at a year old, but he has been around other male cats. How likely is it for a cat to pee indoors for no reason? Any way to deter or prevent it?
