Have “Killer Bees” moved north of Sacramento, in the Central California Valley?

Last night, I had some of the largest bees I’ve ever seen (2-3 times normal size) swarm inside a 50-lb. bag of rolled corn which was open, and sitting outside…

Does anyone know which type of bees these might be?

They seemed a little aggressive when I approached…

Giant bees!?

I found two HUGE bees in the past week near my house in central NJ. One was dead on my deck and one was alive on my screen door this evening. They are seriously the largest bees I have EVER seen…about the size of a large cicada. They have fuzzy upper bodies and yellow and black striped lower bodies. I looked at pictures of carpenter bees and they don’t really look the same. Anyone know what kind they might be?
The striped lower body is shiny, not fuzzy.

Why do the benign cysts on my head change size? is that bad?

I have benign cysts under the skin of my head (not in my head) and they seem to change size by decreasing with stress levels and good eating habits. Does this mean anything or is it normal to have the cysts do that?

What kind of bug bite is this, and is it serious?

My 8-yr old brother has a bite the size of a dime on his back with about 3 yellow spots circling it closely. I’ve only seen similar bites from spiders. We’re in NJ.

Is it something to be concerned with?
