I am having visions, what should I do?

I am visiting my parents Suchot at the countryside. I am married, with one son, Arthur, and he stayed with them, but, recently, he disappeared. We are seeking him everywhere, and we are very worried. Meanwhile, my husband found a bee hive in the woods. He called the firefighters to destroy it, because our Arthur is allergic to bees, one bite can kill him! My father Archibald was against it, I didn’t like it, too, but my husband persisted. So, we all went to the woods. There, the firefighters prepared themselves, and I saw my first vision. A lot of bees came out of the hive, and they started talking to me. Well, not talking exactly, but they made a formation in the air, and this formation was letters, and I read them, and it said: “Maman, c’est moi, Arthur, dans la ruche!” I told my husband about it. He asked me if I spoke bee now,and how could bees read and write, but, at the end, tried to help me to stop the firefighters (at the end they went away on their own though). At home, my husband asked me to talk about my … visions. And then I saw a second vision, a giant ant (maybe about 2 meters long), with a pink spot on its head. My husband offered to make me a camomile tea and went into the kitchen, and the ant came to me, and showed me a pink spot on its head. It told me, somehow, that I made it. Indeed, earlier I polished my nails, and saw an ant (a little one) on my dress. As my husband usually kills insects, and I don’t like it, I tried to shoo the ant off with my nail polisher. Apparently, some nail polish dropped on the ant’s head. I told this big ant, how sorry I was, and smeared some pink nail polish on my forehead, and asked for “no hard feelings”. The ant agreed, we shook hands (or whatever ants have), and it walked away. I waved it off merrily, then I drank some cognac and started crying. It sounds weird, but it’s not a laughing matter, and if they take me to an asylum, who will look for my Arthur then? No mean comments, please. What should I do?

Do male wasps aid the females?

I just came from outside and saw a gorgeous — if evil looking — wasp killing a caterpillar in her mandibles. She was very large and jet-black with a white spot on her back.

What she will do is lay an egg inside the still alive caterpillar and the egg will hatch as a grub and the thing will eat the caterpillar (in this case an inch-worm) until he or she is an adult ready to emerge.

My partner asked me how I knew it was female and I responded that it was only the females that made nests but is that true?

I know male ants and social bees are useless other than for their one purpose of mating but is this true of the solitary wasps?

What’s the lifespan of male wasps? Is it the same as the females? Do they have a carefree summer of do they die soon after mating?
