Okay a bee was flying around me so I stood still, let it sniff me. Then it stings my foot for no reason, it was flicked off before the stinger departed from the bee.
So, why didn’t the statue thing work? None of us were swinging at it and I was the only one who noticed the bee flying around.
Why would it be aggressive and just kill itself to hurt me?

2 days ago I was stung by a yellow Jack. I have never been stung by a bee but only wasps. the location is right above the elbow. well it wasn’t that swollen. now it’s a bit painful to touch and seems to be getting larger. I see no stinger. it use to look like a pimple. I just don’t want it to get worse. could I be alergic?
Only at night do they enter my room. I guess they are attracted to the light. Anyways, they look like giant yellow jackets. We know they are coming in through the window but, we don’t know where in the window they are getting in through. I have a 3 year old and 8 month old son who sleep in the room with us and the bees have a stinger about 1/4 inch long, so it is kind of scary. We have had about 12 bees come in our room just in the past week, sometimes one after the other. I need to know what kind of bees these are so I can take the right approaches to getting rid of them.
Does anyone know what kind of bees these are?

so yesterday i was stung by a bee.I have been stung many times before, and have never had any type of reaction. i looked down and the whole bee was there on the bottom of my foot, stining me. i freaked out and so i just started to run back to my house.( i got stung on a little trail next to my home, so i didnt run that far, at all) when i got home my mom pulled the stinger out. so i iced it and put mustard on it. but today its very swollen. and its evern swollen right next to where i was stung. its all purpley-red. it itches like crazy and it hurts to walk on it! ive been soaking it in icey cold water. when will the swelling go down and why is it like this? PLEASE HEL[P!
also, there is this little brown-ish speck where i was stung, is this a part of the stinger?? my mom said she got it all out though
I would elect a honeybee because they are hard workers and good for pollenating crops as food for thought. However the only bee we shouldn’t have elected is Bush because I think hes from the Killer bees that were suppose to have come up from Texas. His stinger needs to be clipped because those elephants and donkeys can’t seem to find a serum for his venom.
