“I just got a new LG Rumor through Sprint…and I’m new to the text messaging with the “typewriter looking” key pad that comes with the phone. Anyway… I’m trying to text message a friend that I won some money at a local casino, and the first word I put in is “Won”. However, I decide to back it out by holding the back button down. Then I rewrite a new phrase using the word won in it, and when I hit the space button after putting the word “won” in, the word won comes up again. Please tell me how to get rid of this word that keeps coming up after I hit the space bar now. Thanks!!!”

UHHH am I about to get a text-message breakup?

Well, not exactly Text-Message cause my bf broke his cell phone (don’t ask).
But he sent me an email saying:
“My Queen, there’s something I’ve wanted to tell you for a long time now…”
To explain. First, he sent this to me YESTERDAY but I didn’t check my email until today.
Second, he says “My Queen” cause we’ve been calling each other “King” and “Queen” just for the laughs.
But what do you think? We’ve been ‘together’ for five months now… Is he trying to break up?

P.S: I’ll tell you how it goes once he replies.
Awww, thanks guys! Can’t wait till he replies OuO
(it’s late now so he’ll probably reply to it tomorrow, first thing in the morning.)

Should I leave my beautiful fiancée Megan (Mee-Gun, NOT May-Gun) for her poor text messaging skills?

I will be at an important business function in Seattle, and she will be at my family’s estate in New York. As she tries to give me a crucial message via text on my cell phone, I will often not be able to fully understand her point! My goodness, I graduated with a 4.0 and I feel very compelled NOT to dumb myself down for these silly text message shortcuts!

I’m sorry, I laugh out loud, and I do not “LOL”. My goodness.

Did you realize that many of our most esteemed authors only a few hundred years ago put their prose to paper under the threat of persecution? The Queen’s English was only to be used by the elite! Now that it has been brought with great sacrifice to the masses, it is being mauled! I am absolutely unable to forgive my beloved Megan for this egregious offense!

Would I be within my rights to request a temporary trial separation while she perhaps takes an advanced English course at the Local University? I do NOT wish to lose this valued treasure of a woman. By my conservative estimates, she is 35.5% to 39.2% better than most women I meet on a daily basis in the United States are. The number drops to about 13.5% when I travel to France, but my point remains, she is a special diva.
