My little sister and her friends found a hurt adult Cedar Waxwing at her school, so i caught it and brought it home. I thought the wing was broken but it seems normal and it seems to be moving around fine. It has tried to fly to a few perches in my room and can get a bit off the ground, but hasn’t yet tried to fly away. Anyone know whats wrong with it? It was hiding in a thorn bush at her school and was scared from all the kids swarming it, but it seems fine now and seems to like being petted and held. Should i be able to release it in a few days? And anyone know if it hit a window or bruised its wing cuz im pretty sure its not broken. Please help!
