i assumed it was the nest and resovled to get rid of it later however i came back the next day and it was gone. the swarm and the darkish shape was both gone. i just looked out the window and the same thing is happening but on a different tree. the previous branch they swarmed on has no markings on it or anything. what the frick is going on?

I need some information regarding a wild honeybee hive.?

I am not a beekeeper, but I have a wild honeybee hive in one of my trees. Today the bees swarmed and alighted in another of my trees in a big mass. All day I noticed a higher than normal amount of bees flying back and forth and all over the place on my property. After about 4 hours, the mass swarmed again and flew off. I went and checked the original tree with the hive and there seems to still be acitivity there with bees flying in and out of the hive. But I also saw many smaller, blondish, kind of fuzzy bees walking around on the ground by the hive. They did not appear to be sick, but they couldn’t seem to fly. So what happened? Was another queen born and the hive split up? I hope it doesn’t mean that the hive is sick. I did not seem to see any mites on the “fuzzy” bees on the ground.
