Africanized honey bees have been spread across the South West for many years…I’d like to say since the late 70′s or early 80′s. Known to have attacked people but rarely does it happen. If the temperature greatly rises we may see an increase in them but not drastically enough like in other parts of the world where the climate is hot all the time. I do agree that they do need to be stopped and dealt with, but even greater scientific investigation must be taken to better understand ways of killing these atrocious attackers without posioning other important insects.

there really is no way to stop, them without effecting the native honey bees. they are very rapidly growing. the population grew by escaping a farm in south America, in the 60s i think, from about 1 million members, to probably 100 million + bees ow all over the americas.
